* Software compatibility is a huge issue, and Teknicare tests all updates in the context of your integrated system to make sure that your operations are not interrupted by software or hardware conflicts.
* Funding Sources such as Medicaid are often available to underwrite AT expenses. While Teknicare does not file insurance payments, we can put you in touch with providers who can assist you.
* Warranties for hardware components of your AT system are provided by the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). If you have equipment problems, we will help you contact the warranty provider and will reinstall our AT software if necessary.
* Teknicare is currently providing AT software training services and computer support for veterans through the Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) in Albuquerque. We serve veterans throughout the State of New Mexico, visiting them on site and with quick reaction computer support using our remote desktop software.
* We are also providing training and support services to Federal workers with disabilities through the Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program (CAP).

AT Services are provided for individuals and groups to put AT into action as follows:
* Selection of AT equipment, such as routers, computers, keyboards, speakers, monitors and scanners to form an integrated supportable system adapted to the person's needs.
* Selection of AT software for communications, productivity and life style management, such as JAWS and Zoom Text. We are not an AT software developer, but we are knowledgeable and will select the best combination of software available on the market today to meet your needs.
* System Installation is provided to set up communications and AT hardware and software at the location designated by the user.
* Initial Training at home for individuals and at convenient locations for small groups or at care facilities.
* Follow-on Training using webinars that are accessible through systems we have installed at
home to provide refresher and more advanced training.
* Remote Desktop Support allows Teknicare to fix software installations that have become corrupted and to push the latest patches and bug fixes for proprietary and third part software that has been installed by Teknicare.
