| Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Facility Security Officer (FSO) to manage and maintain our small security program in compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and applicable government regulations. Teknicare is considered a National Access Elsewhere Security Oversight Center (NAESOC) facility in that it does not possess classified information at its location (“access elsewhere”).
| Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters with government agencies.
Administer and maintain the facility’s security program in accordance with NISPOM requirements.
Manage personnel security clearances through DISS/eAPP.
Conduct security briefings, debriefings, and annual refresher training.
Process visit requests and maintain access records.
Oversee classified contracts and ensure compliance with security requirements.
Conduct internal security audits and self-inspections.
Prepare for and support government security inspections.
Report security incidents and coordinate corrective actions.
Maintain facility accreditation.
| Qualifications
Required

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an FSO or in industrial/government security.

Working knowledge of NISPOM and related regulations.

Active Top-Secret clearance.

Experience with DISS, NISS, and eAPP systems.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred

FSO Program Management certification.

Experience supporting DoD contracts.

Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field.

Familiarity with Insider Threat Programs
